Leicester 1-2-3

Leicester Marathon featured three athletes from Tewkesbury and they managed to take Gold, Silver and Bronze in their respect categories. Having run her sixth event in six weekends, Angie Sadler finished as 3rd FV50 in a tightly grouped top ten ladies result. Phillip Howells claimed 2nd in his MV70 category after Jon Mansfield had somehow lost grip on his target time only to be compensated with 1st in his new MV50 category. Jon had figured he could break the club record but after 20 miles his lack of training miles was evident by his struggles!
