Dartmoor Discovered.

Phillip Howells and Angie Sadler took part in Iconic Dartmoor Discovery (DD) Ultra Marathon, which was celebrating it's 20th year.

The race is the UK's longest single loop Ultra - The race starts and finishes in Princetown. The 32-mile course takes you up and down some of the toughest hills that Dartmoor has to offer. A strict 250 entry means that the race starts even before the gun! 176 runners crossed the finish line with Angie crossing as 8th woman and the 1st lady in the FV55 catorgory. Her time was 5 hours 27 minutes.

Phillip pulled-out with a groin injury - knowing Phillip, one can guess it must have been quite severe for him to stop. Hopefully, at the time of writing, he's back on his feet again.
