Splendid event (formally called Blaisdon Bluebell) now organised by the Forest of Dean AC after Terry Haines retired. Mainly flat with a gentle incline to the finish – which also happens to be the Pub.

The Bourton Mile

Incorporating the Gloucestershire 1 mile championships, Tewkesbury fielded a sprinkle of runners to add sparkle to the Saturday evening race.

The most impressive run was from Annabel Roberts who finished as 2nd woman – behind a Telford AC runner so it’s fair to say Annabel is the Gloucestershire Mile champion 2018! Rob Bower finished first for the club while James Head watched as both Rob and Annabel ran away from him. Vicky Earls celebrated a new PB for the distance – she even ran a Parkrun earlier in the day!

5:23 minutes Rob Bowery

5:30 Annabel Roberts

5:36 James Head

8:26 Vicky Earls

The Wild One

Angie Sadler reports that she finished first placed lady in this marathon event for the 3rd time. Organised by Black Pear Joggers, the event is 10 laps and also features several relay teams. Angie's time was 4:02 hrs.
