Linda Franks 5 Race Report

Amazing turn out from Tewkesbury Running Club for this mornings well organised Linda Franks 5 mile run. Perfect running conditions allowed 14 of our finest runners to gauge their early season form.

1st home for the club was Chris Nicholls in 31.13, a fantastic time considering Chris was side-lined throughout December. His Saturday morning Parkruns are paying dividends.

Next home was Sue Baldwin in an impressive 37.33, Mungo Park in 38.41, Suzie Tharme in 39.11, Nick Curd in 39.53, Sarah Dennis in 40.04, Dean Hodges in 42.16, Craig Prosser in 42.26, Claire Gent in 43.11, Gordon Dennis in 45.45, Pete Davies in 47.16, finishing strongly were the 10 minute mile gang of Emma Haworth-Smith, Sam Robinson and Cam Pay, in 50 minutes.

Congratulations to all our runners, I’m certain once the results are in we will have a few PB’s and best in Age group to celebrate. Please post them here. Thanks to Philip Jeyes and The Almost Athletes for a wonderful race and very friendly marshals.
