'Not' The Guy Fawkes 5 results
The results are in for our little charity fund-raiser 5 miler. So firstly, thank you to all who entered and supported the charity. Scoo-B-Doo will be getting a much-needed cash boost from us and it will be gratefully received.
As far as the runners who submitted their virtual run times, the fastest moving runner was Kaitlyn Sheppard - a local lady and the only person to record under 30 minutes. On this occasion, Kaitlyn left runner-up Jon Mansfield a considerable distance behind whilst 3rd place was taken by Nigel Tillott who run a splendid scenic 5 mile course.
Georgina Emile recorded the second fastest time for the ladies and Elaine Vincent claimed the final podium spot as 3rd lady.
Tewkesbury Running Club was awarded the club prize with the most entrants with 21.
Receiving the 'best landscape' award was the aforementioned Nigel Tillott.
The fiercely contested 'fancy-dress' award was won by Jason Hulance after he ran a tremendous effort as a tiger.
